Aswington will not recognize Samizdat as a micronation

The Presidency of the Republic of Aswington, through a decree, informed the citizens of the country that it will not recognize the State of Samizdat as a micronation, considering that it supports conspiracy theories, anti-vaccine stances and, at the same time, denies the existence of climate change.

It also recommended to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not to establish relations of any kind with the State of Samizdat.

President of the Republic: Samidzat acts irrationally

The President of the Republic, Juan Cisneros, in declarations to the Aswington News Agency, indicated that the government of the State of Samizdat acts irrationally.

"They declare certain states as terrorists, only because they want to implement the coronavirus vaccination on a mandatory basis for all citizens. Mandatory vaccination is not a reason to decree a state as terrorist. In addition, he supports anti-vaccine protesters and maintains a anti-vaccine stance."

He also noted that Samidzat maintains a position in favor of climate change denial.

"Climate change is no hoax and we are all suffering the consequences of it. To say that climate change is a hoax is a danger, because, at some point, we will suffer a global catastrophe."

Finally, he indicated that the following:

"Samizdat acts in an unprofessional manner and with that, in my capacity as President of the Republic, I would not consider it a professional micronation. All Samidzat does is to issue meaningless communiqués, to decorate coronavirus deniers or leaders of authoritarian governments and to consider leaders of some countries as terrorists, just for implementing mandatory vaccination. Although I reject the implementation of mandatory vaccination and firing those who have not been vaccinated, it is illogical to do such things. This is done by an unprofessional micronation that acts irrationally."
