Manat value will be calculated by indexed formula

Through a decree issued by the Presidency of the Republic, the national currency will be calculated through a formula indexed to the value of the silver ounce. This is in order to establish a monetary model and in turn, develop the country's underdeveloped economy.

Since the value of an ounce of silver, expressed in both U.S. dollars and euros, is fluctuating, it is speculated that the value of manat would be under these characteristics.

The Aswingtonian manat is the official currency of the country. It has a family of coins (1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 kopeks), and banknotes (1, 5, 10 and 20 manats) whose designs are in charge of the Central Bank. It is speculated that in the next few days, two more banknotes (50 and 100 manats) will enter into circulation.
